What happens

doneYour account is proved with your password or a one-time code sent to your email.
doneDeleting the account clears your name, email and password and blocks sign-in.
doneRecords you choose to erase are removed from the map, the website and the app.
doneYou get an email confirming exactly what was removed.

What is kept

arrow_rightSightings you keep stay public, but no longer point at you.

arrow_rightPhotos you contributed to the shared species library stay with the species - email us if you want those removed too.
arrow_rightEncrypted backups may retain a copy for up to 30 days before it ages out.

Email app@isdi.co.za and we will action the deletion for you. Administrator accounts can only be removed this way.

This will remove:

remove_circleTrips, social posts and follows
remove_circleAccount log and sign-in history
remove_circleName, email address and password - the account can never be signed into again

Sightings I recorded Every sighting you submitted, removed from the live map and the public records. Game scores and answers Your proximity game levels, scores, leaderboard entry and answer history. Trips, social posts and follows Saved trips, comments and likes you posted, and the accounts you follow. My name Clears the first and last name on the account. You can still sign in.

2. Prove it is you

We never delete an account without verifying who is asking.
